Well, my character only uses spirit magic. Is it alright to use two types of spirit magic?

Well my character is pretty skilled with his sword and his pistol but sucks at controlling his fire magic (so i think my oc is pretty fine)

The idea I have currently will incorporate the use of spirit magic in a 'points' system, much like in an mmo where you will allocate different points into DEX/MND/STR stats per level-up youll be able to add Blu/Green/Purple etc. stats


As far as the 'approval' process it will simply be the following:

1) We will create a template 'character sheet' that everyone must fill out
2) The character sheet will be created as a new topic by each user in the 'character sheet' sub-forum
3) It will be reviewed by an admin/mod and commented either 'approved' or 'disapproved for _____'
4) Rinse and repeat until approved


This will allow each person to have a sheet visible to the mods and other players who want to learn about your OC

Well i have a friend who would like to join but he would love to be a bad guy....Is that possible?

Will there be a list of occupations on what non-student original characters can take? Like teachers, doctors, librarians, shopkeepers, magic-oriented jobs, etc.?

Maybe a list of creatures that exist in Victubia and can be bonded with through the Magic Bond? Could we incorporate things such as Slenderman and Amnesia as rumours.or tales that are passed around since Victubia is suppose to have high paranormal activity?

If we do decide to incorporate some of the horror games lets do corpse party too!!!

If were incorparting horror games this is gonna be a amazing becuase there are some many good ones (and bad ones)

I think incorporating paranormal activities is inevitable since it's essential to the Victubia main story line. Horror games, on the other hand, is a bit more difficult even though it's very interconnected to the Youtubers in Victubia; not all people would understand the references since they don't really enjoy the genre, so my suggestion is if we do incorporate horror games, we should make special, separate locations for it so people can choose whether or not to participate in said roleplay.

List of creatures would be nice! Maybe we can use our points to buy them as pets or something...  

I personally would like to see miscellaneous collectibles such as medals (obtained from doing certain something) or purchasable antiques like alcoholic beverage bottles from Late Night or rare books of some sort...but that's just me   

Will airships be available? (cause my oc is a captain) and can there also be different kinds of battle airship classes like:

-FIREFIGHTERS: close range ships that attack by using a big flamethrower (very dangerous at close range)
-RAMMERS:as the name implies their main attack is ramming the opponents ship (also very dangerous at close range)
-THE QUEEN:giant battle ship with a buttload of cannons (both dangerous at close and far range)

These are just some examples...Plus people could buy their own ships with their points.(they would be very expensive though)
They would also need a crew though (mindless npc ones or real people)

For the horror games aspect I was thinking more along the lines of implication rather than outright stating it. For example, there are rumours of people disappearing near forests, those that come back claim they've seen a faceless man in a suit and are constabtly mutterring 'It's coming for them'. Like horror stories, and some of the students may be dared to spend a night in the rumoured forests to see if its true or not

What would we do if we want our characters to interact with the Youtubers? Will they be treated like NPCs or excluded entirely?

Maybe the drinks in the late night bar could give people certain buffs that last for a few posts?

I think the current livestream begs to differ; there's a whole BUNCH of airships in the background. Minx probably has an armada.

Still, I think a lot of the mods want to focus on the schools and student missions for the time being, Sunny... there's been a big push for that. I don't want you to be disappointed, but if that kind of thing's not available now, it probably will be later on as we expand through the Victubia universe. I mean, venturing out is kind of bound to happen anyway, since all students will graduate and move on with their lives and be involved with other parts of Victubia, anyway.

So just in case they do push for that, maybe your captain OC needs to study something (maps of locations they need to travel through, pirate legends, history of airships, etc.) at the library here:

Maybe your character could be studying to be a pilot/captain at Victubia University, too? Airships are VERY RARE and it's unlikely your OC will have one - Most ships are still at sea.

Lets try to keep that to fanfictions, alright guys? This is the VMA focused roleplay for the time being, so unless an event is planned regarding something spooky, its unlikely your character will become Buffy the Slenderman Slayer. But I'll have to discuss this with the others!

I was thinking for the paranormal stuff as more along the lines of rumours and stories passed around the campus and readings of Toasty News and Fridays with Pewdiepie, not something the OCs will come in direct contact with or pursue.

Also when does the roleplay take place? Before, during or after the events of the main storyline or will this be like an AU setting completely seperate?

Can my oc atleast have a normal ship? :3

I like the idea of objects that give bonuses, but they'd have to be CRAZY fancy if we were going to use the same currency to buy them as we do skills. Like, a kewl jacket that's +1 (insert skill here) would be the same as putting that +1 into your actual character, but with a chance of said object getting destroyed/unused in certain situations. So they'd have to be the same price but with the object slightly more powerful, or the object could be relatively cheaper for the added risk. I wouldn't do temporary buff items for similar reasons, unless it's like, sandwiches from Castle Crashers, which wouldn't really fit this universe, I don't think. Or you could give smaller buffs but hand those objects out for free for completing missions, ionno. Again, maybe this is over-complicating.
